Case study: Business Merger
Retained by a newly formed holding company, to act in the merger of two complementary training businesses servicing the
information and communications technology industry, and based in the Thames Valley. The shareholders and directors decided they did not wish to instruct separate advisors.
Assignment involved overseeing the merger process and included structuring the transaction, instructing and supervising the work of solicitors engaged to complete the transaction, and undertaking financial and tax due diligence. Also advising and assisting in the development of the strategic plan for the new group.
The transaction was completed within four weeks. |
